This designer rug by Shishka Project is based on the painting “Elephant” (1937) by Maria Prymachenko — one of the early works of the artist, where her distinctive visual language begins to take shape.

The image of the elephant is reimagined through Prymachenko’s unique artistic lens — not as a realistic animal, but as a fantastical, ornamental figure. Through rhythm, color, and pattern, the work conveys a sense of strength, kindness, and harmony.

The rug is part of an official collaboration with the Maria Prymachenko Family Foundation and belongs to a limited series that translates the artist’s work into contemporary collectible design.

The total edition is limited to 100 pieces (across all available sizes).

Each rug is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, indicating the date of production and an individual edition number.
