Pony armchair — Seagull Edition (Maria Prymachenko, 1961)

The Pony armchair by Shishka Project is inspired by the work of Maria Prymachenko, and her painting “Seagull in Its Nest” (1961).

The chair’s form, designed by Julia Kononenko, reinforces the core idea of the image — a sense of protection, calm, and inner space.

The textile, adapted by Julia Kononenko from the original artwork, translates the artist’s visual language into material, making the image physically tangible.

The chair is part of an official collaboration with the Maria Prymachenko Family Foundation and belongs to a limited edition.

Strictly limited to 50 pieces.

Each piece is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
